White Veined Kratom

Kratom is made from the dried leaves of the Mitragyna speciosa tree, which grows in many different parts of Southeast Asia. The different names usually denote where the kratom has been cultivated, but the color indicates something else.

White-veined kratom is normally made from leaves that have been harvested early in their lifecycle. This means that the alkaloid profile is different than other strains because it hasn’t had as much time to mature. That doesn’t make it worse or better than other strains, simply different. Many who are new to the world of kratom begin with white-veined varieties since many tend to have the mildest alkaloid profile.

Green Veined Kratom

When green-veined kratom is harvested, it is done so in the middle of its lifecycle. This makes for a unique alkaloid profile that can only be claimed by green-veined kratom strains and that people also love because it’s a comfortable midway point between the alkaloid profiles found in white-veined and red-veined kratom.

Red Veined Kratom

Yellow Kratom

Yellow kratom is a specialty strain, made in a variety of ways. It is either harvested very late in its lifecycle, is a blend of the three primary kratom colors that are then fermented to produce a yellow hue, or it’s put through a distinctive drying process that produces its yellow color. Yellow kratom often has an alkaloid profile similar to green-veined varieties.
